RICS加入國際操守標準聯盟(IESC) 制訂全球通用專業操守

香港2014年12月17日電 /美通社/ -- 皇家特許測量師學會(「Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors」或簡稱「RICS」)聯同全球27個國際房地產專業團體組成「國際操守標準聯盟」(International Ethics Standards Coalition，簡稱「IESC」)，共同制定及採用全球通用的「國際操守標準」(International Ethics Standards，簡稱「IES」)。

「IESC」28個成員來自亞太區、北美、歐洲、中東及非洲地區，大部份已擁有良好的的操守標準及守則，IES將對此作整合並延伸至誠信、廉潔及尊重等層面，以讓專業人士按統一的操守標準提供服務。新標準適用於全球各種工作模式。聯盟將於2015年委任獨立專家小組草擬IES及作公眾諮詢，專家小組成員組合將反映此標準所覆蓋的多元範疇及國際視野。新標準可望於2016年初制定，而IESC成員機構將於其後向僱員及會員提供相應的培訓及推行相應的守則。

IESC 理事兼RICS全球住宅項目總監Peter Bolton King表示：「目前，許多專業組織均已制訂良好的操守標準及守則，然而這些守則多有相似，而公眾及客戶對其理解亦不盡相同。這不僅會導致理解混亂，也在日益全球化、聯繫越加緊密的市場中影響專業人士提供服務的合法度。因此，設立國際通用的操守標準，能提高專業服務的透明度、一致性及可信度。」
