HONG KONG, May 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- At TUV Rheinland Hong Kong, we continue to show our care for the community and fulfill our social responsibility by sponsoring the "Free Ride Day of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce." On 29 May, members of the public and tourists will be able to take a free ride on any tram between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and on any Star Ferry between Tsimshatsui and Wanchai / Central. Between 15 May and 11 June, tram on Hong Kong Island will carry the message "TUV Rheinland is your reliable partner."
Based in Hong Kong for over a quarter of century, TUV Rheinland provides product safety testing and quality assurance to ensure the safety of consumers and users. Moreover, TUV Rheinland integrates the principle of corporate social responsibility in its business operations and encourages employees to participate in voluntary work. In January, we organised the blood donation activity which attracted over 60 staff to participate.
2014 TUV Rheinland Photo Competition
To celebrate our sponsorship of Free Ride Day, we are organising a photo competition with the topic "TUV Rheinland in Hong Kong." The competition is open to anyone with an interest in photography and the subject for the contest is the tram with the TUV Rheinland message. Entries will be judged on the basis of originality, informational content, technical proficiency, and visual impact. Please click here for the participation form. The submission deadline is 16 June.
